Construction began in the spring of 1916 and the first train crossed July 1917. Construction was overseen by the McClintic-Marshall Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bridge is 3463 feet in length allowing trains of the CSX Railroad to pass over the Ohio River. - Creator
