The United States Government building (the old stone Post Office) was located at Chillicothe Street at the northeast corner of the Gallia Street Esplanade.
The RR YMCA was built in 1908 and was located at the corner of Gallia and Norfolk Streets near the Norfolk and Western railroad yards.
