Description: The Burgess Steel and Iron Works was incorporated in 1872, and it was located on the river at end of Third (3rd) Street. This factory burned in 1898 and Levi York re-built in New Boston in 1898-1899.
The Standard Telephone Manufacturing Company was located at 1021-1025 Gallia Street. It was later changed to the Standard Supply Company and specialized in electrical supplies manufacturing.
