A rust covered red metal tin with gold and black lettering from The Ohio Valley Coffee Co. in Portsmouth, Ohio. Labeled as Big San Coffee brand. The company began in 1921 by Stanton Shela, who was founder and president. In 1950, the stock was sold to a Florida man, and the building sold to Samuel Levi Company. Located 518 2nd Street.
Large black cast iron kettle from the Ohio Stove Company. Embossed on the lid reads "Ohio Stove Co. Ports. O." In good condition, but has a few rust spots. The Ohio Stove Company was located at Eleventh (11th) and Chillicothe Streets. It manufactured cooking and heating stoves until the 1950's. It is now known as OSCO Industries, at the same location, and designs and produces gray iron castings for a wide variety of commercial customers.
Wooden shoe last with size "6A" style "romance", the date and century's seal in black, metal heal and some "pitting" on bottom. Located at 1831 10th St. The company began in 1954 orginally on 6th St.
