Original buildings, located at Eighth (8th) & Waller Streets, were dedicated in 1875 when the First Presbyterian Church needed expansion due to a growing congregation. A new brownstone church was dedicated in 1911. A fire gutted much of the building in 1933 but was restored and re-dedicated in 1935.
