Black & white images of two train depots located in Portsmouth. Top image is Old Scioto Valley Depot located at 15th (Fifteenth) and Chillicothe Streets. The bottom image, at 10th (Tenth) and Waller Streets, was the C.P.V. depot until 1901 when the N & W Railroad used it until their new terminal was built at Sixteenth (16th) and Findlay Streets in 1931. The building was used for storage until it was razed in 1968.
Holiday greeting card from The Vulcan Corporation, known for producing golf equipment, wood shoe heels and later plastic shoe heels in the early 20th Century. Corporation was founded in 1910.
Black & white photograph of the American Legion James Dickey Post 23 Baseball Team "The Casey Cubs." They played against Cleveland to win the state junior league championship in 1929. They played again in 1930 but the team stopped playing after the 1930 season.
